ABOUT US

An Idaho native, Dr. Jonathon Wolf has been practicing in the Treasure Valley since 2015.

Dr. Wolf grew up in Boise and completed High School in Kuna. (Go Kavemen!) He graduated in 2001 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology followed by medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle, and a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

During that time, he gained an appreciation for the complex anatomy of the foot and ankle and the reconstructive opportunities that orthopedics provides. He went on to complete a foot and ankle fellowship at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. There he served as adjunct professor in the department of Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery.

In 2015 he and his wife, Holly, moved back to their home state of Idaho to be close to family and to start theirs. For the first 4 years, Dr. Wolf was in private practice, based out of Meridian and Caldwell. He left in 2020 to join Saltzer Health which would eventually be purchased by Intermountain Health later that same year.

Following the closure of Saltzer Health, Dr. Wolf has realized his dream of returning to private practice by starting his own practice so that he can care for his patients without the constraints and oversight of a large organization.

Dr. Wolf specializes in orthopedic surgery and sub-specializes in foot and ankle surgery, including deformity correction and minimally invasive surgical (MIS) techniques. He also performs total ankle replacements, complex limb salvage, and is skilled in the operative and non-operative treatment of general orthopedic injuries.

Dr. Wolf lives in Eagle with his wife, Holly, and their three children.
